Black & White Wednesday - Preserving Summer's Bounty

It's difficult to think anything but pleasant thoughts while eating a homegrown tomato.
~ Lewis Grizzard

This year we had bumper crop of tomatoes in every shape, size and colours. It's a joy to cook and eat home grown vegetables and fruits. After cooking what seemed like tonnes of tomatoes, I preserved the goodness of summer's bounty in a jar for these cold and wet days... The Green Cheery Tomatoes from our garden is my entry for this week's Black & White Wednesday, a culinary food photo event by dear friend Susan.
